Educational Program

Patient Education

The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Healing Center has educational program for patients from all walks of life. Under the sponsorship of the World Diabetes Organization of Traditional Medicine, the center provides seminars on “Smart Patient”, “Diabetes Prevention” every other Sunday. And on the 2nd Sunday of each month, the center provides seminars on “Children’s Health Care for young parents”, “Women’s Health”, “Health Watch for Computer Engineers”, “Family Health Care”, and “Home Massage Therapies”, etc.

Continuing Education

The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Healing Center has continuing education programs for California licensed acupuncturists and registered nurses. This educational program is certified by the Acupuncture Board to provide acupuncture practitioners with the most updated and advanced therapies and information in treating every difficult, complicated, and popular disease.

Clinical Training

The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Healing Center is also a training clinic for the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Students in their 4th year observe certain shifts in the center as part of their clinical training under the supervision of licensed practitioners. Students learn diagnosis procedures, herb formulas, point selections, treatment procedures, insurance information, etc. The information is most useful in their future practice.
